1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Restart phone.
11. Press "Read Info" in software.

4. Write Firmware

  1. Put phone into Download Mode.
  2. Connect the phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  3. Install required driver.
  4. Select firmware file.
  5. Click "Write firmware" button.
  6. Follow software instructions (prompts).
Note: Please, before firmware write, disconnect all other devices from the computer (including phones, modems, etc.) and close all other running programs. To avoid errors in the flashing process, use a clean PC (without any installed drivers for other Android-based devices). Dont run any other programs or attach new devices to your computer during the flashing procedure! Don't turn off phone and don't disconnect cable during firmware write. Please, follow these simple instructions to avoid phone damage.

6. Read unlock codes


Method 1. With Root (via ADB interface):
  1. Take out SIM card from phone.
  2. Root your phone manually.
  3. Connect powered-on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  4. Install required driver.
  5. Click "Read codes" button.
  6. Follow software instructions (prompts).

Method 2. Without root (via modem port):
  1. Connect powered-on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  2. Install necessary driver.
  3. Click "Read Codes" button.
  4. Follow software instructions (prompts). Note: This method works on old firmwares/security only.

Method 3. Without root (via DIAG port):
  1. Type *#0808# and set "AP" to "DM+ACM+ADB".
  2. Connect powered-on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  3. Install necessary driver.
  4. Click "Read Codes" button.
  5. Follow software instructions (prompts). Note: In most cases KNOX(Warranty void) must be 0.

7. Reset Screen Lock

  1. Connect powered-on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  2. Install necessary driver.
  3. Click "Reset Screen Lock" button.
  4. Follow software instructions (prompts).
Note: After the operation will be successfully completed, You need to draw any pattern, if Pattern Lock was set, or enter any password, if Password Lock was set.

Note: After the operation will be successfully completed, You can write a stock firmware. (to avoid FRP lock problems)

9. Reset FRP/Reactivation Lock


Method 1. Via Download Mode (Persistent)
  1. Click "Reset FRP/Reactivation" button.
  2. Put phone in Download Mode.
  3. Connect the phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  4. Follow software instructions (prompts).

Method 2. Via Download Mode (UserData)
  1. Click "Reset FRP/Reactivation" button.
  2. Put phone in Download Mode.
  3. Connect the phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  4. Follow software instructions (prompts).

    Additional instructions for Samsung Account reset:
  1. Create new Samsung account (via PC or via another phone). You should have working Samsung Account.
  2. Perform the "Reset FRP/ Reactivation" operation.
  3. When FRP lock will be successfully reseted, wait 3-4 minutes, then go to "Backup and reset" and try to make "Factory data reset" - the phone will ask You to enter Samsung account data - enter Samsung account data, which You have created earlier. If "Factory data reset can"t be done via phone"s menu, try to make "Factory data reset" via Recovery mode ("wipe data/factory reset").
  4. Restart the phone and connect it to Wi-Fi.
  5. Go to https://findmymobile.samsung.com/ and log in with the username and password (which You have created earlier). In there select the phone that it just added to account, select "Unlock my device" and "Unlock Reactivation lock".
  6. Restart the phone and enjoy.

Method 3. Via UART (UFS memory chip)
  1. Click "Reset FRP/Reactivation" button.
  2. Put phone in Download Mode.
  3. Connect the phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
  4. Wait until the software will ask you to disconnect USB cable.
  5. Connect the phone to Box via UART cable.
  6. Press and hold "Vol-" and "Power" buttons for 15-20 seconds.

Method 4. Via ADB (Combination)
