How To Download Samsung Odin 3.13.1 And Flash Samsung Oreo Firmware On Samsung S8/S8+
Make a complete back up of your Samsung smartphone before starting the flashing process
Step 01 - Download the Oreo firmware file and extract the folder
Step 02 - Download the Samsung Device drivers and install them on your Windows PC and restart the computer
Step 03 - Download latest Odin 3.13.1 and extract the ZIP file and double-click the EXE file to launch the Odin
Step 04 - Enable the download mode on your smartphone and connect it to the computer using a USB cable(Methods to enable download mode vary according to the device model and find out the correct method for your device)
Step 05 - Now, go to the Odin interface and click each button and load the relevant file from Stock firmware. Look at the following example.
Example: Click "BL" button and next search for the file that starts with "BL" inside of your extracted firmware folder. Likewise click " 'AP' button,'CP' button, and 'CSC' button respectively and load the relevant file. When you load the file for 'CSC' button make sure to load HOME_CSC.Do not choose CSC file.
Step 06 - When the all files are loaded, click "Start" and start the firmware flashing
The whole process may take about 12 minutes and also your device may take some time to restart. But do not panic wait fora while. After the device reboot, your device is running new firmware. You can check it using Settings > About Phone >Software Information.
The flashing process will begin and should take about 10–12 minutes. It may take some time for your device to reboot, but don't be alarmed. When your device finally boots up, you should now be running your desired firmware. If you want to check that the correct firmware is installed, head to Settings –> About Phone –> Software Information. The firmware number is located under "Baseband version."
